Aerodry’s axial fan system dries cars effectively in a simplistic, maintenance free manner. Our design also allows us to control sound at the source. For us, it all starts at the intake:
Aerodry Systems uses a large, round intake near the base of each self-supporting stainless-steel tower. Intake holes, engineered for noise reduction and supportive strength, allow a large volume of air to make its way to the fan. There is minimal ingestion of moisture and debris due to our unique design.
Upon entering the tower, the air encounters a bullet-shaped center that directs air flow to the tips of the axial fan while lessening turbulence and noise. The Aerodry fan – optimized, one-piece cast aluminum axial fan- pushes air over the Premium 15 horsepower ABB motor – keeping the TEAO (totally enclosed air over) motor cool. HIGH CFM, LOW NOISE
Motors can be doubled in each tower to create more CFM and pressure. When operated on optional VFDs and if facility power supports, even more airflow may be generated, to the extent of the motor capabilities. LEARN MORE about Fans: Key Differences
Air flow then passes into the fiberglass portion of the tower where pressure is increased by gradually reducing the size of ductwork. Utilizing spacers makes it easy to meet specific customer needs for height and width of system.
The air exits out a single silicone nozzle on the overhead or multiple silicone nozzles for the side blowers. Long lasting silicone is molded without seams and adds to the sound abatement.
Both stainless and fiberglass sections of each tower benefit from the addition of acoustical materials that significantly reduce noise levels. Foam, mineral wool, and fiberglass are effective sound absorbers because of their porous structure. Each is permanently affixed and/or enclosed in the components to ensure consistent air flow.
